Planning for the Future
Strategic Planning has long been a hallmark of Woods' success. Every three years, the Management and Board of Trustees work together to prepare strategic plans that guide the organization's efforts and address current needs, opportunities, and future objectives.
Advancing Woods' Mission
One objective in the current strategic plan focuses on increasing efforts to secure gifts and grants to advance Woods' mission.
Towards this end, many efforts have been made in recent years to grow Woods' philanthropic revenues. As a result, these revenues have increased by 22.5% during Fiscal Years 2004 to 2006.
Celebrating 100 Years of Excellence
The Trustees of Woods Services recently approved a plan to maximize the effectiveness of Woods' fundraising efforts. In connection to the upcoming Centennial in 2013, Woods' Trustees, families, donors, management and staff are poised to accept the next level of responsibility and excellence. Together, these groups and the community-at-large have the ability to enrich the lives of the exceptional people served by Woods now and in the future by supporting The Campaign for Woods' Second Century.
The Campaign is designed to address identified needs totaling $10,000,000. Among the specific objectives of the Campaign are –
- Raise $2,500,000 to construct a new Medical, Dental and Employee Training Center.
- Create a stable financial future by raising an additional $7,500,000 for Woods' Endowment Fund.
- Donate Today
- A gift from you will help Woods serve people with special needs.
