Campaign Ambassador
Location: Woods Services - Langhorne, PA
Position Title: Campaign Ambassador
Purpose: Represent Woods Services to the community-at-large to solicit support for The Campaign for Woods' Second Century.
Key Responsibilities:
- Willingness to support the Woods Services mission.
- Communicate with individuals, organizations, foundations, and other potential supporters about the Campaign.
- Distribute appropriate materials (obtained from the Development Office) in regard to the Campaign.
Relationships: Woods Services staff, volunteers and clients.
Qualifications:
- Reliable
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Utilize your personal contacts to schedule speaking opportunities on behalf of Woods.
Training: Volunteer Orientation
Reports to or Partners with: Coordinator of Volunteers and other members of the Development Office.
Length of Appointment: Six months. Renewable. Contingent upon our centennial deadline (Summer 2013).
Time Commitment:
- Meet with four members of the community per month.
- Send in a written report to the Volunteer Office outlining how each meeting went.
