Woods announces Campaign Cabinet Planned Gift Co-Chair

June 26th, 2007

Frederick D. Wolf, a member of Woods’ Board of Trustees, will serve as the Planned Gift Co-Chair of The Campaign for Woods' Second Century. As Co-Chair, Wolf will work in concert with Woods’ National Campaign Chair and the Campaign Cabinet to guide Woods’ fundraising efforts.

As Planned Gift Co-Chair, Wolf will be responsible for coordinating the cultivation of individuals who wish to make a planned gift, such as a bequest or Charitable Gift Annuity. “Many people choose to make a planned gift, because they can serve as a supplemental retirement plan for donors and people can receive major tax benefits,” said Wolf. Mr. Wolf's career in financial consulting involved more than 30 years of worldwide auditing and financial management experience as a partner at Price Waterhouse, Assistant Comptroller General at the general accounting office, and as a Partner at Arthur Anderson in Chicago, Houston, The Netherlands and Hamburg, Germany.

Wolf has served on Woods' Board of Trustees since 1992 and has served as both Chairman and Treasurer during his tenure. Over the years, Mr. Wolf has served or held office  in several business and civic organizations that include, most recently, Chair of the Health Care Foundation for the Yampa Valley - a hospital organization located in Mr. Wolf's hometown of Steamboat Springs, Colorado where he resides with his wife, Flora.  They have four sons, Frederick, Jeffrey, Daniel, and Bastiaan.  Mr. Wolf's brother, Charles, has been a Woods' client for 59 years.
