Campaign Announcements

Mary R. Faulkner, a member of Woods’ Board of Trustees, will serve as the Family Co-Chair of The Campaign for Woods' Second Century. As Co-Chair, Faulkner will work in concert with Woods’ National Campaign Chair and the Campaign Cabinet to guide Woods’ fundraising efforts. 

 

As Family Co-Chair, Faulkner will be responsible for coordinating the cultivation of individuals who have a loved one served by Woods. She became involved with Woods Services in 2001 when her son Michael, now 21, was enrolled in Woods’ program for people with developmental disabilities. “After looking at several possibilities, we knew that Woods was the perfect match for Mikey and for us,” said Faulkner. Because she has been very active on Woods’ campus visiting her son, his teachers and staff, Faulkner is very attuned to the work being done at Woods.

 

“Mary has brought our Board the perspective of a parent of a person with special needs. Her familiarity with various aspects of our program makes her a real asset to the Campaign,” said Robert G. Griffith, Ed.D., President of Woods Services.

Mary and her husband Joe live in Huntingdon Valley, Pa.
